Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions from Amp creators
What is the Amp Creator Fund?
We’re launching the Creator Fund to support Amp’s community and foster their creativity by offering something in return for dedication to their craft. We’ll continue to explore further monetization opportunities for Amp creators — this is our first step in giving back. The Creator Fund supports creators big and small, regardless of background or experience level, for their hard work in creating engaging, entertaining content.

Each month, we’ll reach out to selected creators with reward amounts and instructions on how to claim. Rewards will generally be determined based on listener engagement and show performance metrics.

To be eligible for monthly rewards, all you need to do is start creating. No application is needed; any creator who meets the eligibility criteria has the opportunity to earn from the Creator Fund. Here are some best practices to help you get started.
How can I earn from the Amp Creator Fund?
Any creator who has hosted a show in the qualifying month and follows the criteria below is eligible to earn from Creator Fund. If you check these boxes, you’re eligible for monthly rewards:
  1. Your use of Amp must adhere to the Amp Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, and Music Guidelines.
  2. You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority where you reside) and have accepted the Amp Terms of Use. If you are between the ages of 13-18, then a parent or guardian must accept the Terms of Use and set up a payment account.
  3. You must be located in the United States.
  4. You must have a United States bank account.
  5. You must have an email address associated with your Amazon account.
  6. You cannot be an Amp employee or Amp contractor.
How can I get my show as a Replay on Amp?
Replays are selected by a combination of factors, but in general, shows with more listeners and engagement (likes, callers, claps) will have better chances of becoming a replay. Make sure your audience knows about your shows, encourage callers and chats, and emphasize quality when hosting.
What are the guidelines to using the creative show assets?
  • By downloading these promotional templates (“Templates”), you (“Licensee”) accept and agree to the following terms to use AMP, AMAZON MUSIC, AMAZON, and related trademarks (“Trademarks”) for the limited purpose of using the Templates for your social channels and Amp profile (“Purpose”).This permission is premised on Licensee’s compliance with the following terms:
  • Licensee must follow the Trademark Usage Guidelines at http://www.amazon.com/tmguidelines.
  • Licensee will make no use of the Trademarks beyond the Purpose.
  • Absent any written extension, which Amazon has no obligation to grant, this permission and license will expire once Licensee ceases activity on Amp.
  • Amazon has the right, if it desires, to review Licensee’s use of the Trademarks at any time.
  • Licensee’s right to use the Trademarks may be revoked unilaterally by Amazon at any time, and upon such revocation Licensee will promptly discontinue all uses of the Trademarks.
  • Licensee will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Amazon and its directors, officers, shareholders, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims arising from or related to Licensee’s use of materials not provided by Amazon (including, but not limited to, third party trademarks, names, images, and likeness) in connection with the Templates that violate, infringe, or misappropriate any third party intellectual property right.
  • If the templates will use AMAZON MUSIC and/or AMAZON, we should keep those marks in the license agreement. The first line should then be as follows: By downloading these promotional templates (“Templates”), you (“Licensee”) accept and agree to the following terms to use AMP, AMAZON MUSIC, AMAZON, and related trademarks (“Trademarks”) for the limited purpose of using the Templates for your social channels and Amp profile (“Purpose”).
What is Amp Crew, and how can it help me?
Amp Crew is the official show of Amp and hosted by real employees! They have shows every Tuesday and Thursday, where you can listen to creator interviews, call in and ask questions, and connect with other creators. Follow Amp Crew here.
How can I improve my audio quality?
Audio quality on the host and callers side is reduced when playing music for latency reduction. However, listeners receive your show and the songs you play in a higher fidelity.

Please make sure you are in an area with good internet connectivity. If you’re a listener having audio quality issues, or have a different issue not addressed above, here’s what to do:
  • If you’re using headphones, please check your connection
  • If the headphones are wireless, please ensure that they are charged and close to the device
  • If issues persist, report a bug by using the chat bot
Tip for creators: While Bluetooth is recommended for a solid, hands-free experience, a wired connection may offer higher quality audio.
