Don Toliver
Houston-born, singer and rapper, Don Toliver, became known in 2018 after the release of his ‘Bobby Womack’ mixtape which led him to sign with Travis Scott’s label, Cactus Jack. From there he debuted his first studio album Heaven or Hell (2020), followed by Life of a DON (2021). He then went on to work with artists like Lil Durk and GloRilla, Dez Wright, OZ, Trippie Redd, Justin Bieber, NAV and Future, as well as his longtime girlfriend, R&B singer, Kali Uchis.
Now for his third studio album release, Love Sick, the Grammy-nominated artist is expanding the way fans hear his music, by pairing the new album with a 15-minute short film that goes by the same name.
About the short film, Love Sick
Rewinding back to the seventies with disco fashion, cars, and locales, Love Sick finds Don Toliver caught in a web of intrigue. As the protagonist of this mini-movie, he owns the Love Sick Diner—which employs various shadowy characters. Wild days give way to wilder nights as he dodges law enforcement and a lover soundtracked by music from his 2023 album, Love Sick. Stream the short film exclusively on Prime Video.
